My mum is one of these people. She is 76, and used to cycle until 2 years ago. She has just ordered a new pushbike with an electric 'help' engine. Good for 70 km (50 miles) but she is required to cycle just a little bit. It doesn't look stupid and she stays fit. In fact, I will go back home next year for a week and cycle with her, for 4 days in a row, 40 kilometers a day during the national 'fiets-4-daagse' (cycle 4 days).
