Meet Mike

Tattoo Artist | Neo-Traditional, Japanese & Cover-Up Specialist

I’ve been tattooing for almost 20 years and enjoy working in a range of styles, including American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Japanese, Black and Grey, and occasionally Watercolor.

Neo-Traditional is probably where I feel most at home, but one of the areas I’ve become especially experienced in over the years is cover-ups.

I enjoy being able to take a tattoo that may carry a painful memory or no longer represent who someone is and turn it into something they’re excited and proud to wear again. For me, there’s a lot of reward in giving someone the opportunity to let go of the old and breathe new life into something that once bothered them.

Appointments & Walk-Ins

I started my career in a street shop taking walk-ins, and that has stayed an important part of how I approach tattooing.

I take appointments throughout the week for larger or more involved work, but I keep Saturdays open exclusively for walk-ins.

I like leaving that door open.

Sometimes someone knows exactly what they want and just wants to get tattooed that day. Sometimes they need to sit down and talk through an idea. And sometimes a small walk-in ends up being the beginning of a much larger project.

Outside the Shop

When I’m not tattooing, I’m a father of two, a bedroom guitarist, and I enjoy painting whenever I get the chance.

I’m also a lifelong student at heart and spend a lot of my free time studying history and the Bible.
